Review of a successful virtual event

Early October it was finally time for our annual Infinica Day again, offering customers, partners, prospects and friends the opportunity to gain valuable insights into our company and exchange ideas with like-minded people.

As an annual event, Infinica Day has a long tradition and is a landmark in our business year. Direct feedback is essential to stay ahead of the curve with a software solution like our CCM platform. The intensive exchange with our customers and partners is thus part of our corporate culture and helps us to always focus on the requirements of the market.

At the same time, Infinica Day always offers the opportunity to highlight how our company has progressed over the past months, what we have been working on and what the next steps on the company & product roadmap will be.

This year, as in 2020, we held Infinica Day as an online-only event to maximize planning predictability for all attendees given the dynamics of the pandemic. Just like last year, the interactive event platform created a real event atmosphere.

The Infinica Day was once again an online-only event, but like the last time, the interactive event platform created a genuine event atmosphere.

Participants were not restricted to following the various presentations, but could also interact with our staff and the speakers at the virtual booths or with other participants in the Infinica Lounge, or give feedback on our products in the Infinica Lab.

Managing Director Jürgen Pfalzer kicked off the official part of the program with a word of greeting and then led us through the program. Which started with our second Managing Director, Herbert Liebl, who gave all participants an overview of the progress we have made as a company and with our products over the past months. Thanks to the steady company growth, there was a lot to talk about – ranging from office expansions and relocations, to new partnerships and customers, all the way to product news.

Afterwards, a team from Unicredit gave the participants exclusive impressions of the operational practice of our solutions at a financial service provider. Mario Wehrberger and Herbert Seidlberger from Bank Austria and Matthias Winkelhofer from our Professional Services Team demonstrated how the Infinica platform is the engine of the digitalization offensive for the paperless securities order process.

The first breakout session was all about accessibility. Our colleague Severin Hendriks first gave an overview of what accessibility exactly means and what the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are all about. He then went into more depth on the topic using detailed practical examples in Worplace and Composer.

The next customer presentation followed shortly after. Marc Volz and Dr. Cornelia Franke from Deutsche Bahn offered the participants a look behind the scenes of the world’s leading mobility and logistics company and explained how they use the Infinica platform for multi-format and multi-channel ticketing.

Our second breakout session was completely dedicated to the new 6.1 release of Business Designer. Our colleague Martin Quedzuweit demonstrated the most important features and innovations using a range of hands-on examples.

Finally, Herbert Liebl presented the roadmap for the company and our products in the coming months using a world map and sparked the expectations of many participants for upcoming functions and product enhancements.

Due to the great interest and the more than 150 participants, we were able to surpass last year’s record in terms of attendance. We are looking forward to meeting you again in person in the near future. A heartfelt thank you to our customers and partners for their continued trust and support, without which we would not be able to successfully continue on our course of growth. We are already looking forward to the next Infinica Day!
